We have tickets for the revival of Sarah Kane’s controversial, disturbing, yet prophetic play Blasted, at the Lyric, Hammersmith, on Monday 11 November. The graphics students had an experimental typography session recently, inspired by contemporary typographer/illustrator Sean Freeman. They used cornflour and food dye to create a custardy gloop which they then dripped onto wooden letters, creating works which really challenge the conventions of graphic design, being resplendent with texture and movement.
